God is looking for a people of purity and power to usher in a mighty revival in Singapore

"..Be holy because I am holy." (1 Pet 1:16)

If my people who are called by My Name

will humble themselves,

and pray

and seek my face,

and turn from their wicked ways,

then I will hear from heaven,

and will forgive their sin

and heal their land. (2 Chronicles 7:14)

In 2 Chronicles 7:14 above, God clearly states the four conditions that must be satisfied before a revival can take place.  One of the key conditions is for His people, the Church, to turn from our wicked ways with true repentance individually as well as corporately.

To turn from our wicked ways means to repent and disallow a sin pattern in our life. Every small departure from God's way of holiness is sin. It is more than a list of do’s and don’ts, rather, it is pursuing a life of holiness that is set-apart from the world and dedicated to God.

In 2 Corinthians 7:1, Paul exhorts us to perfect, or accomplish, or work towards holiness out of a reverent fear of God.

Therefore, having these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God. – 2 Corinthians 7:1

What promises was Paul talking about? 

In the preceding verses (Ch 6:11-18), God promises His fellowship and to favourably receive those who choose to be separate from what is unclean or sinful.  When we, the temple of the Holy God, is cleansed from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, we become a temple that God loves to dwell in, and we become a vessel that He can use to accomplish His work(2 Tim 2:21)

Pure power can only flow through a pure vessel. When we avail ourselves as clean vessels for His Glory, He will prosper the work of our hands by His Mighty Power.  When we pray, our prayers will be effective, when we share the gospel; people will turn to Christ, when we lay hands on the sick they will be healed to the Glory of His name!  Dear friends, this is the Revival that we want to see in Singapore!
